It is different to plastering because it restores the top surface with crisp edges and a level surface, removing any damage. This is usually done on plasterboard wall installations fitted as part of extension projects.

We complete all types of plastering, including the traditional float and set method, which was commonly used before plasterboard was available.

The system requires a wet undercoat before plastering, followed by a thin skim coat for a smooth and seamless finish. It is ideal for solid walls.

Tape and joint

This plastering technique can create a smooth and seamless finish on walls and ceilings. This method involves applying paper and fibreglass mesh joint tape over seams where two pieces of plasterboard meet.

This is to stop cracks from forming along the joint. A joint compound is then applied and smoothed out to create a flush and even finish.
